Dr. Ben Garber is a New Hampshire licensed psychologist, parenting coordinator, expert consultant to family law matters across North America, speaker and author. Dr. Garber is a former Guardian ad litem.

Dr. Garber has advanced degrees in psycholinguistics, developmental and clinical child psychology from the University of Michigan and The Pennsylvania State University. He completed an internship in clinical child and family psychology at the Institute of Living in Hartford, Connecticut. He is co-founder of the Parenting Coordination Association of New Hampshire, winner of the March of Dimes "Distinction in Media Excellence" award, and an acclaimed educator and author in numerous areas of child and family development and family law.

Above all else, across roles and titles and jurisdictions, Dr. Garber is an unwavering advocate for children.

Ben Garber is a proud son, husband, father and grandfather. He resides in southern New Hampshire with his wife of more than thirty years and their two dogs.

Dr. Garber is a compulsive writer. He is the author of more than five hundred popular press articles that have appeared in the Nashua Sunday Telegraph and in newspapers and magazines elsewhere around the world since 1998. He has published nine books, several chapters, and numerous peer-reviewed professional articles on subjects in child development and family law learn more here

Dr. Garber's latest book, "Mending Fences: A collaborative, cognitive-behavioral 'reunification' protocol serving the best interests of the post-divorce, polarized child" (Unhooked Media, due Spring, 2020) elaborates on his 2015 article (learn more here learn more here) and sets the contemporary standard for the type of systemic intervention commonly known as "reunification therapy."

Outside of the office, classroom and courtroom, Dr. Garber is an avid woodsman, fisherman and kayaker. He experiences and promotes the fullness and beauty of nature as one of the best therapies any person might ever enjoy.
